Photos From WMS Functions
Labor
Day Weekend Forays
In the late 1980's
the WMS held several annual Labor day weekend forays at the Ford Forestry Center
near L'anse Michigan.

As you can see the fungi were quite abundant in those years. Some of the members
pictured are (from left to right) Alan Parker, Ed Melkers, Fred Kluhsman, John
Steinke and Tula Erskine.

Top to bottom, here are Chuck Soden. Rich Miller and Tula Erskine sorting out
some large mysteries.

Left to right here are Kris Ciombor, Tula Erskine and Rich Miller discussing the
day's finds.

Our January meeting always features a slide show followed by wine and cheese.
There's much enthusiasm.

Mushroom
Fairs and Festivals

Alan
Parker and the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha sponsored with the WMS a mushroom
festival on Sept. 21, 1997. There were a lot of mushrooms and people enjoyed learning
and seeing them all. Here is Mary Babboni helping a friend learn about mushrooms.
