Wisconsin Mycological Society Design Contest!

Do you have a favorite foray, a cherished memory of the club, or, of course, a favorite fungi that inspires you?

WMS is looking for a new shirt design!

As a non-profit (yay!) WMS relies on membership, donations, retreat foray tickets, and selling merch in order to fund the events and speakers we all love.

We’ve decided to ask WMS members and fungi-lovers everywhere for submissions – we’ve seen the art you all can create! Designs may include the words “Wisconsin Mycological Society” or be inspired by a specific foray, but don’t need to. Let your imagination run wild! 

Designs should be submitted to:

by June 16th, 2025.

They can be in any image format above 300dpi.

The winner(s) will be announced by July 1st.

If your design is chosen, you’ll get a free shirt (with your design on it, of course) and free admission to a WMS retreat foray of your choosing (travel, lodging, etc not included).

The design must be your own original unpublished work.

Winners of the WMS design contest agree that WMS has the rights, free of charge, to use your winning design for all printing and promotional purposes.
