WMS members! We are reaching out to you with an opportunity to help out and attend the Mycological Society of America foray!

This year will MSA will host visiting mycologists from all over the Americas right here in Wisconsin at their annual meeting and conference.

This event includes a pre-conference foray into the woods where attendees will engage with our local fungi.

This is where you may be able to help: the MSA is interested in inviting some of us as trail guides -- we can help foray attendees learn about our local geology, ecology and fungi on the trail and can help create a species list from the foray.

Volunteers will be selected from those who express interest using the form below. Selected trail guides can then attend the MSA foray without needing to pay for it.

This foray is otherwise limited to 150 MSA conference attendees only.

The foray will be in the Mazomanie, WI area on Sunday July 29th. 

Selected volunteers will hear back from us with confirmation and more information about the foray and coordination on our volunteer roles.
