Brad has been interested in the natural world all his life and discovered a particular interest in mycology about a decade ago. In the last ten years, Brad has attended every foray and mycological gathering he was able to.
In that same time, Brad earned 2 bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, and also in that time he bought more field guides than all of the textbooks he needed for those degrees!
Brad has passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and earned his CPA designation, while also becoming a foray leader for the Wisconsin Mycological Society. He spent 6 years working in public accounting with various clients, now specializing in not-for-profit auditing, and sharing his knowledge of mushrooms and accounting with anyone who is interested. Brad has been an incredible asset at many of the recent WMS forays and retreats by spending hours at the ID tables as well (helping to sort out mushrooms late into the nights of those events).
He is very happy to be using his unique skill set to help advance the field of mycology and increase public interest in our natural world.
