For help on fungi identifications . . .
You can post to Mushroom Observer & iNaturalist to find help with identification, including in our iNaturalist projects where individual members may have ideas. You can contact us with questions about how to get started on those sites, help with books or how to read identification keys, and more advice. We may or may not be able to reply promptly.
There are also many Facebook groups that are focused on identifying edible fungi. We suggest Wild Food Wisconsin or Mushroom Identification Group. Be sure to follow their guidelines! They will help you learn to take useful photos and provide useful information (ex: smell, nearby trees) for identifying your mystery mushrooms.
