Professional illustrator and fine craft artist with a longtime passion for mycology, foraging and hiking. Rose has been serving as a board member with WMS for the past two years.
In that time she has helped organize special events and forays with the club, helped with identification of fungi, helps admin the clubs social media, written articles for the WMS newsletter, launched the WMS short video series where she shoots and edits most of the video, and has participated in some way in all club events and Zoom lectures.
Rose is the Arts Committee Chair for NAMA (North American Mycological Association) and is Vice President of her local South Sound Mushroom Club in Olympia WA.
Though she joined WMS and WMS board while living in Wisconsin, Rose has since moved back to Washington state. We see her in person at larger WMS events like the Northwoods foray in Cable though!
